Plenary Session with One of the Speakers (doc. committee)
Banjarmasin – The Biology Education Study Program (PS Pendidikan Biologi) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM), successfully held the National Seminar on Biology Education (SNPBio-ULM) 2024 with the theme “Innovation in Biology Research and Learning Based on Wetland Environments in the Era of the Merdeka Curriculum” on Thursday, October 31, 2024. The event, attended by 279 participants and 62 presenters, was conducted in a hybrid format at the Graduate Theater Lecture Hall of ULM and via Zoom conference.
As a large-scale national event held in hybrid format, the ICT Team of FKIP ULM played a crucial technical support role. The team ensured the smooth operation of audio-visual equipment, internet connectivity, and online conferencing systems, allowing speakers, presenters, and participants—both on-site and online—to engage seamlessly. With ICT support, the plenary sessions featuring professors from various universities and the parallel sessions with dozens of presenters ran without technical disruptions.
Additionally, the ICT Team managed digital documentation, including photos, videos, and Zoom recordings, for publication and official archiving. This supported the organizing committee in disseminating the seminar’s achievements and strengthening the academic footprint of the Biology Education Study Program.
The success of SNPBio-ULM 2024 was not only the result of contributions from the committee and speakers but also the essential ICT support that ensured a smooth digital transformation throughout the seminar. This reflects FKIP ULM’s ongoing commitment to integrating technology in advancing academic activities rooted in innovation and collaboration.
