Banjarmasin – The Educational Technology Student Association (Hima Tekpen) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), successfully organized the National Seminar of Temu Edukasi Mahasiswa Indonesia (TEMA) on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) ULM.
Carrying the theme “Education in the Modern Era: Building a Bridge Between Tradition and Transformation,” the seminar featured three speakers: Ibnu Sina, Mayor of Banjarmasin; Susanti Sufyadi, Coordinator of the Educational Technology Study Program FKIP ULM; and Rian Fahardhi, Content Creator and President of Gen Z.
As a national-scale event attended by more than 170 participants, the smooth execution of the seminar relied heavily on solid technical support. The ICT Team of FKIP ULM provided optimal services, ranging from the setup of audio-visual equipment, presentation systems, and internet connectivity to digital documentation. The ICT Team’s presence ensured that speakers could deliver their presentations clearly, participants could engage in discussions without technical disruptions, and every part of the event was well-documented for archiving and publication.
According to the organizing committee, the success of the TEMA National Seminar was not only determined by the speakers’ insights but also by the ICT Team’s crucial role in maintaining technical quality throughout the event. This support made the seminar not merely an academic discussion forum but also a tangible example of how technology enhances the quality of student-led activities within FKIP ULM.
