Banjarmasin – The ICT Team of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), played a key role in supporting the smooth implementation of the Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) training and certification organized by the Department of Economics Education, FKIP ULM, in collaboration with the ULM Professional Certification Institute (LSP) and International Test Centre (ITC). The program ran from July 21 to August 5 in the Economics Education Laboratory at FKIP ULM, involving 43 participants, including students, lecturers, and administrative staff.
Thanks to the readiness of infrastructure and technical support from the ICT Team, the training and certification ran smoothly from 08.00 WITA until completion. All participants successfully completed the certification exams and were awarded internationally recognized MCE certificates.
Intensive coordination took place between the organizing team, supervising lecturers, and the ICT Team to ensure that devices, networks, and systems functioned optimally. “We ensured the laboratory was ready, from installing supporting software, setting up exam accounts, to monitoring internet connectivity. Alhamdulillah, everything ran smoothly,” said a member of the FKIP ULM ICT Team.
For the ICT Team, the success of this program not only supports the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of the Department of Economics Education but also demonstrates FKIP ULM’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance learning quality and the competencies of the academic community.
The program also provided valuable experience for students and lecturers in utilizing educational technology relevant to 21st-century learning needs. The support from the ICT Team is expected to continue strengthening digitalization efforts at FKIP ULM, enabling broader and sustainable implementation of similar training and certification programs in the future.
