
The ICT Team of FKIP ULM supported the implementation of the Departmental Journal Website Management Workshop in a hybrid format.
Banjarmasin, October 10–11, 2025 – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) held a Workshop on Departmental Journal Website Management, attended by representatives from all study programs within FKIP ULM. The activity aimed to enhance the capacity of each department in managing their journal websites to ensure better security, structure, and professionalism.
The workshop was conducted over two days. On the first day, Friday (October 10), the session began at 09.00 WITA and continued until completion, focusing on website security as an effort to prevent potential cyberattacks and data misuse. Participants gained in-depth understanding of implementing web security standards for managing digital journal platforms within the faculty.

On the second day, Saturday (October 11), the session took place from 09.00 to 12.30 WITA, featuring a hands-on practice on managing WordPress and utilizing various supporting plugins. During this session, participants explored the WordPress platform in greater depth and learned techniques to optimize the appearance and functionality of journal websites to make them more engaging and interactive.

Throughout the activity, the ICT Team of FKIP ULM played an active role in supporting the technical aspects of the workshop — from equipment preparation and assistance during practical sessions to documenting both morning and afternoon activities. Through this workshop, it is expected that the management of journal websites across all departments within FKIP ULM will become more optimal, secure, and aligned with the faculty’s ongoing digitalization standards.
