SIMANJA Application Trial

Banjarmasin – The Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit (UPKH) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) and the FKIP ICT Unit conducted a trial of the Simanja Application on Monday, February 26, 2024. This application is designed to simplify the issuance of Cooperation Agreement (PKS) documents at the faculty level and Implementation Agreement (IA) documents at the study program level.

These two documents have become crucial as they serve as the legal framework for collaborations between FKIP ULM and external partners. Such collaborations are a key parameter in achieving the University’s Key Performance Indicators (IKU), which encompass the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education. All IKU activities involving external parties are guaranteed legal validity through PKS and IA, alongside the primary university-level document, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to Nuruddin Wiranda, Head of ICT, Simanja is a simple yet highly functional application. “It includes several features, such as checking the availability of MoUs with partner institutions. If an MoU exists, PKS and IA documents can be created immediately. Another feature is the PKS creation process, which can be filled out collaboratively by both parties, resulting in a finalized PKS or IA ready for joint signing. The application also allows uploading IA reports, making the data directly accessible to all relevant stakeholders,” he explained.
