Signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) Between FKIP ULM and Al Mazaya Pelita Asia Foundation

Banjarmasin – The ICT Team of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), supported the smooth implementation of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) signing between FKIP ULM and Al Mazaya Pelita Asia Foundation, the organization overseeing Maestro Schools and STIKES Pelita Cahaya Bangsa. The event took place on Friday, August 29, at 09.30 WITA in the Utility Building Meeting Room, FKIP ULM.

The PKS signing ceremony was opened by FKIP ULM Dean, Sunarno Basuki, and attended by the Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Unit (UPKH), Emma Rosana Febriyanti, along with her team; the Head of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Unit and team; as well as representatives from Al Mazaya Foundation, Rizky Pratama Putra.

In his remarks, Sunarno Basuki expressed appreciation for the establishment of this cooperation, noting that the field of education is dynamic and that collaborations must be mutually beneficial and adaptable to evolving needs.

On this occasion, MBKM Head Raisa Fadilla also explained the programs to be implemented in collaboration with schools under Al Mazaya Foundation, including Teaching Assistance programs and the SEA Teacher student exchange program. FKIP ULM is set to host nine foreign students from the Philippines who require partner schools for field practice in the near future.

Meanwhile, Al Mazaya Foundation hopes that the collaboration will not only involve programs but also create opportunities for FKIP ULM graduates—especially those proficient in English—to join as teaching staff in the schools they manage.

The event concluded with a presentation of souvenirs and a group photo session. The FKIP ULM ICT Team ensured technical support and documentation throughout the event, ensuring that all activities were well-recorded.
